Author of the Month

This month we are featuring author Tracy Clark. Clark is a new author to our library. Her debut novel, Broken Places, made Library Journal’s list of the Best Crime Fiction of 2018. The novel was the first book in the Cass Raines Chicago Mystery series, featuring ex-cop Cassandra Raines. Crime Reads named Cass Raines Best New PI of 2018. There are four books in the Chicago Mystery series, they are Broken Places (2018), Borrowed Time (2019), What You Don't See (2020), and Runner (2021). In 2023, Clark started writing a new mystery series. The first book in the series, Hide, introduces Detective Harriet Foster. In this mystery thriller Detective Foster is on the hunt for a serial killer with a deadly affinity for redheads. To date there are three books in the series, Hide (2023), Fall (2023) and Echo (2024).
